California State Board of Nursing
Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences does not offer in-person nursing instruction, clinical education, or preceptor experiences in the State of California. Joyce University does not have a physical campus in California and does not place students in California-based clinical or preceptor settings.
Students who reside in California and enroll at Joyce University are enrolled in a Utah-approved nursing program. Joyce University's bachelor's and master's programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), and didactic instruction is delivered online through distance education. All required clinical and preceptor experiences are completed outside of California in states where Joyce University holds appropriate authorization or approval to conduct such activities.
The licensure boards in each state are responsible for establishing the requirements for licensure/certification for their state. The state professional licensing boards make the ultimate decision as to whether or not an individual will be eligible to sit for licensure or be employed in the profession after graduating from a program or obtaining a license in another state based on the rules and regulations in place at the time the individual submits an application for licensure. https://www.rn.ca.gov/rn.ca.gov
Colorado State Board of Nursing
An applicant (from out-of-state school) can apply for licensure by examination if the student graduated from a nursing program that is approved by the relevant board of nursing and accredited by an accreditor recognized by ED. Colo. Code Regs. § 716-1:1.1-E(3). Joyce University meets these requirements for Colorado residents.

Florida State Board of Nursing

Idaho Board of Nursing
As an out-of-state institution, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Associate Degree in Nursing are approved by the Idaho Board of Nursing for clinical instruction to occur in state. Idaho residents may apply for licensure of after graduation from a program that is accredited by a nationally recognized nursing accreditor and approved by the Board of Nursing of the state in which it is located. Indiana State Board of Nursing

Michigan Board of Nursing
Joyce University can serve Michigan residents through reciprocity under NC-SARA and students can apply for licensure by examination if they graduated from an out-of-state program that is accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA), or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). As an out-of-state institution, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Associate Degree in Nursing are approved by the South Carolina Board of Nursing for clinical instruction to occur in state. South Carolina residents may apply for licensure after graduation from a program that is accredited by a nationally recognized nursing accreditor and approved by the Board of Nursing of the state in which it is located. Texas Board of Nursing
Joyce University is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing to offer prelicensure program clinical nursing experiences in Texas.
Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, Board of Nursing
The Associate of Science in Nursing and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs at Joyce University are authorized by the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL), Utah State Board of Nursing.
