ADMISSIONS INFORMATION
Admissions Policy
Admission to Joyce University programs is considered when all program admissions requirements are met by the posted deadlines, and there are adequate facilities and resources available within Joyce University and the community.
After a prospective student has submitted their application and provided proof of meeting all program admissions requirements, the application file will be reviewed, and a determination will be made. Prospective students will be notified in writing of the determination.
Associate of Science in Nursing Program Admissions Requirements

Complete, sign and submit an enrollment agreement.
Pay all applicable fees as listed in the Tuition and Fees Schedule section.
Satisfactorily pass the background and drug screening.
Proof of high school graduation, General Education Development (GED) test completion, or graduation from an associate degree level program or higher.
Meet one of the following:
• Proof of graduation from an associate degree program or higher.
• ACT minimum score of 19
• SAT minimum score of 1000
• HESI Admission Assessment Exam (A2) minimum score of 60 or higher.
• Passing Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) score with a minimum cumulative passing score of 55% with a minimum score of 60% on the Reading section.
o A passing TEAS exam score is valid for five (5) years from the date the exam was administered. Results from a TEAS exam proctored in a manner acceptable as determined by Joyce University within the past 5 years may be accepted for admission or program eligibility. The TEAS exam may be taken three (3) times within a twelve (12) month period.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program Admissions Requirements

3-year BSN track
Complete, sign and submit an enrollment agreement.
Pay all applicable fees as listed in the Tuition and Fees Schedule section.
Satisfactorily pass the background and drug screening.
Proof of high school graduation, General Education Development (GED) test completion, or graduation from an associate degree level program or higher.

Accelerated BSN Track
Complete, sign and submit an enrollment agreement.
Pay all applicable fees as listed in the Tuition and Fees Schedule section.
Satisfactorily pass the background and drug screening.
Proof of graduation from a bachelor’s degree level program or higher.
Unofficial transcripts indicating that a bachelor’s degree is achievable and expected to be awarded during the first semester of enrollment will be accepted for enrollment. Official transcripts must be submitted to registrar@joyce.edu by Week 8 of the first semester of enrollment in order to remain in the program.
RN to BSN track
Complete, sign and submit an enrollment agreement.
Pay all applicable fees as listed in the Tuition and Fees Schedule section.
Proof of graduation from an associate degree in nursing program with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.0.
Meet the requirements to take the NCLEX exam and obtain an active unencumbered RN license to practice as a registered nurse within the United States (U.S.) by week 8 of semester 1 of the program in order to remain in the program.
Master of Science in Nursing Program Requirements

Complete, sign and submit an enrollment agreement.
Pay all applicable fees as listed in the Tuition and Fees Schedule section.
Proof of graduation from a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing program with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0.
An active unencumbered RN license to practice as a registered nurse within the United States (U.S.).
